FAQ

Q: What is the app creation process from start to finish?

A: A typical legal app order will follow this process:

  1. Enter your basic app order information on our App Creation Form here.  As you enter you app details you will get an app cost.
  2. Soon after you submit your app order we will contact you to finalize your specific needs
  3. We will provide you with a final purchase order
  4. We will create your app and submit screenshots for your approval
  5. Upon approval we will submit your apps to the desired app stores and request final payment
  6. Upon final payment and approval from the respective app stores your app will be live
  7. We will provide you with links to your app that you can then give to your clients or use in your marketing

Q: What if I have other specific needs not covered by the app order form?

A: Please Contact Us to discuss your specific legal app needs.  We will work with you on your specific app requirements.

Q: Do we need an Apple Developer or Google Play Publisher account to release our law firm’s app?

A: No, you do not. We will release your app under our own account so you do not need to worry about this step. However, if you would like to use your own account we will work with you on this step for an additional fee.

Q: I’ve heard about issues with Apple’s approval of apps. What if our app is not approved?

A: We will attempt to make updates to your app so that Apple will approve it for release in the app store. However, if Apple still does not approve the app and you have already paid CustomLawyerApps.com, we will refund you the entire cost of the iPhone app portion of your order.

Q: What if I want to make changes to my app during the year?

A: Changes can be made for an additional cost. If you desire changes we will provide you with a reasonable price quote to make these updates.

Q: When will I be required to renew my app?

A: Each year around 30 days before the one year anniversary of your last payment was made we will contact you to renew your yearly subscription. If at any time you decide you no longer need your app you just do not need to make the new payment. We will automatically remove your app from the app stores with no further action on your part. This reinforces our policy of making it easy for you to order an app but also easy to cancel your app.

Q: Who owns the source code and intellectual property rights?

A: Unless otherwise specified by a distinct and unique agreement with your firm, Front9 Technologies maintains ownership of all source code and copyright for the apps developed.

Q: How do you accept payments?

A: We prefer to be paid via Paypal. Paypal is a trusted and secure method for making payments online. As we work with you on your order we will provide specific payment information.

Q: What other apps have you developed?

A: We’ve created apps on our own for the past four years. The most notable app is iJuror which is the top juror selection iPad app over the last three years.  Recently we’ve created an Android version of iJuror as well.  We’ve also created an iPhone and Android app for law firms such as Freid and Klawon and The Law Offices of Blake T. Webber.
